Purchasing

Q. Are there concessions for children or seniors?
A. The membership price is a set fee regardless of the member.

Q. Is there a payment program I can enter into?
A. Yes, details of which are available through our helpful sales consultants.

Q. Can I re-sell my memberships?
A. See Membership Terms & Conditions.

Membership

Q. Are family memberships available?
A. No, all memberships are sold on an individual basis however the seats would be allocated together.

Q. Can I choose my own seat?
A. You may nominate a preferred seating section. The Cricket Club will endeavour to allocate seating to a member in the nominated area.

Q. If I buy with a group of friends will we be able to sit together?
A. We will do everything we can to comply with people's seating requests, but this will be subject to seating availability and at the sole discretion of The Cricket Club. A request at the time of application would greatly assist the possibility of Members being seated in groups.

Q. How many people can I transfer my membership to?
A. One membership entitles one person to one reserved seat in the Bradman Stand. This may be given to another person for use at any match.

Q. Transferring your membership during a match.
A. You are able to exit the SCG during a match and re-enter therefore enabling you to transfer your membership to another person during the match if you wish.

Q. When will I receive my membership card?
A. You will receive your membership card/s one month prior to the first match of the season at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Q. Are there any reciprocal membership benefits?
A. At present there are no reciprocal membership benefits to The Cricket Club.

Q. Is there a dress code that applies to the Membership area?
A. Yes. A dress code will apply to The Cricket Club member’s area. The following dress code will apply.
Males: Neat casual attire - shirt with collar, dress shorts/trousers, and closed shoes. (No T-shirts, sandals, thongs or bare feet)
Females: Neat casual attire with shoes. (No thongs, bare feet or revealing attire)

Food and beverages

Q. What type of catering options will be available?
A. A Reserved dining area is available for sit down dining at each match. Bookings must be made prior to every match. Menu details and booking forms will be sent out prior to the season. Bookings are taken on a first in basis.
* A snack bar menu will be available in the Bradman Stand.
* You also have the option to pre-order hampers.

Q. Is any catering included in the membership?
A. All food and beverages are an additional cost.

Other questions

Q. Does membership also give access to Swans, Rugby, Rugby League, Soccer etc?
A. No. This is a Cricket NSW membership and only provides access to International or domestic cricket matches in NSW hosted by CNSW at either the SCG or other venues where CNSW may schedule matches.

Q. Can the membership be used elsewhere.eg Telstra, North Sydney Oval?
A. The membership can be used at all Cricket matches played in NSW under the control of CNSW, including any played at Telstra Stadium and North Sydney Oval. For each match played outside of the SCG, Cricket Club members will be entitled to two tickets to the match.

Q. As a member of the Cricket Club, can I access the SCG Members area, if I have friends there?
A. As the SCG member’s area is separate to The Cricket Club membership area, access is available only to holders of an SCG membership card.

Q. How is this different to SCG membership?
A. There is no waiting list for The Cricket Club - memberships will be sold on a first in, first served basis. The Cricket Club guarantees each member a reserved seat; there are only as many memberships as there are available seats. The Cricket Club membership applies only to cricket matches at the SCG and other major cricket games held in NSW.

Q. What happens for any days that may be washed out? Do I get a refund?
A. The Cricket Club accepts no responsibility if a major cricket match, or other NSW match is abandoned, postponed, delayed or shortened for whatever reason, including days that may be washed out.

Q. Parking
A. Members will be able to access general public parking facilities in Moore Park and at The Entertainment Quarter. There are no Member specific parking options available with The Cricket Club Membership.

Q. Where does the money from the sale of Memberships go to?
A. All funds go back to Cricket NSW, apart from a management fee that is being paid to Insite and SEL for administering and promoting the program.

Q. Smoking
A. Smoking is not permitted in seating areas, bars or restaurants as specified by the SCG Trust.
